❄️ Cultural Winter Afternoon with Ruta— December 7, 2025

On 7 December 2025, Ruta held its annual December concert — a tradition that has become an important moment in our musical year.

What made this evening especially meaningful for us was seeing familiar faces in the audience. Over time, a circle of listeners has formed around Ruta — people who return, who follow our work, and who come to listen again. Recognising these faces, feeling this continuity and trust, brings a special warmth to the concert experience.

The program was dedicated to Ukrainian Christmas and New Year traditions. Through carols, shchedrivky, poetry, instrumental pieces, and moments of shared singing, the concert unfolded as a musical story — one that connected ancient traditions with the present moment.

The evening continued beyond the concert itself. After the performance, guests were invited to take part in a Christmas workshop, where they could create their own small festive decorations. We also shared tea and homemade treats, creating a relaxed and welcoming space for conversation, connection, and lingering together.

This concert was not only about music, but about togetherness: voices meeting in harmony, cultures meeting in listening, and a shared space where Ukrainian tradition could be experienced, understood, and felt.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who came, listened, sang with us, and shared this December afternoon. Your presence and continued support make it possible for this tradition to grow — and we already look forward to meeting you again.
